A girl stands on top of a tall building. The sky is sandy brown and the girl and the building are black silhouettes.
The girl slowly walks to the edge of the roof.
She hesitates for a moment. She lowers her head, and then determinately jumps off of the building.
She falls in slow motion for a few seconds. Her hair waves in the air.
FLASHBACK: TEN YEARS AGO INT. CLASSROOM - DAY
The 7-year-old girl sits alone in her class. The girl sits at her desk; her teacher is handing out marked tests.
The girl gets her test back.
CAMERA: ZOOM IN TO THE TEST The test has two large red “X”s
CAMERA: ZOOM OUT OF THE TEST
Two other girls walks pass her, each holding their perfect tests marked “100%”. They notices the girl’s imperfect test, one of them grabs it, and waves it in the air. She calls to others in the class. A line of words come out of her mouth “Hey! Look at this!”. Others rush over and laughs at the girl who remains in her desk, she flinches.
BACK TO PRESENT: THE FALLING
She falls for a few more seconds.
FLASHBACK: SIX YEARS AGO
INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY - DAY
The 12-year-old girl is carrying textbooks and is walking alone. A group of kids run over and one boy accidentally bumps into the girl. Before the girl could apologize the boy pushes her. The group of kids all comes over and surrounds the girl, pushing her around. One of the kids knocks her textbook down onto the floor. The books scatter all over. The kids laugh and leave. The girl bends down and picks up the textbooks, and then slowly sits on the floor with her arms around her knees. She buries her head into her arms and shivers as though she were crying.
BACK TO PRESENT: THE FALLING
She falls for a few more seconds.
FLASHBACK: TWO YEARS AGO INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY – DAY
The girl is walking to the girl’s washroom.
CAMERA: FACES THE WASHROOM DOOR The girl pushes open the door.
She notices something written on the door of one of the stalls.
CAMERA: CLOSE UP OF THE DOOR (Written on the door) XXX is STUPID IDIOT, WEIRDO, LOSER
BACK TO PRESENT: THE FALLING
She falls for a few more seconds.
FLASHBACK: TWO DAYS AGO The girl sits at her computer checking her mail.
CAMERA: CLOSE UP OF THE SCREEN
An alert pops up telling her she has new mail.
She clicks it. It’s a malicious email.
CAMERA: CLOSE UPS TO THE WORDS WHY DON’T YOU GO DIE, GO TO HELL IN BLOODY RED
BACK TO PRESENT: THE FALLING
CAMERA: CLOSE-UP OF HER FACE
A drop of tear (blue) drips out of her eye and trickles up her face.
CAMERA: OUT OF THE CLOSE-UP
She keeps falling, and falling, the music becomes more and more agitate, until she almost hits the ground —
